Nutella Hot Chocolate

Most mornings, I grab some yogurt or a granola bar as I head out the door to work. I’m usually in a rush to get ready, to that’s all I can manager early in the morning. If I have a few extra minutes to spare, I will make some coffee or tea to take with me.

Even if it’s 90 degrees outside, I always like a cup of something hot to drink in the mornings. I get cold very easily, so this warms me right up and gets my day off to a good start.

At night, I usually like to relax with a cup of hot chocolate or tea. It’s my time to unwind and reflect on my day. Sometimes I will make my own hot chocolate, while other times I will reach for the pre-made packets.

Both warm me up, but I much prefer the home-made kind. It’s creamy and all around delicious! So when I was rummaging through my pantry the other night, I gaze fell on my favorite spread, Nutella.

Have you tried this before? It’s a delectable spread made of chocolate and hazelnuts. Nutella has a similar consistency to peanut butter and is the perfect topping to toast, bagels, pretzels, pretty much anything you can get your hands on.

Ever since I tried this spread, I’ve been hooked! In fact, I usually end up eating most of the jar with just my spoon, as it’s just that good!

But since I’m trying to have more willpower, I decided to use Nutella in more recipes. And with that, this Nutella Hot Chocolate was born!

Nutella Hot Chocolate

Smooth, creamy, and bursting with flavor, this Nutella Hot Chocolate is the perfect warm you up and wow your tastebuds. This drink is warmy, cozy, rich, and decadent. And if you’re a Nutella lover like me, then this was made for you!

The Nutella and chocolate combine to create a delicious drink that smells as good as it tastes. After all, hazelnuts and chocolate make the best combination, right?

And like most of my recipes, this Nutella Hot Chocolate is a breeze to whip up! In fact, you may have all of the ingredients in your kitchen already.

Simply combine some milk, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt in a medium pot. Over medium heat, warm the mixture, stirring occasionally.

Add in a generous amount of Nutella (it’s ok to lick the spoon!) and stir well. Bring the mixture to a boil, making sure the Nutella is fully combined.

Pour into two glasses, garnish with some whipped cream (if you so desire, but I think it’s a necessity) and get ready to indulge.
