Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted and cooled
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks/chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F and lightly coat a 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, mixing until fully combined. Set aside.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine sugars and melted butter, stirring until fully incorporated. Add Greek yogurt, orange juice, eggs, and almond extract, stirring until well combined.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into the flour mixture, lightly stirring to incorporate. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  5. Transfer batter into your prepared loaf pan, and sprinkle extra chocolate chunks on top, if desired. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes, until a knife inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  6. Allow loaf to cool in pan for approximately 10 minutes before removing and transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
