White Chocolate Cinnamon Biscuits
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk, chilled
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- Preheat oven to 450F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper or a silpat mat. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda. Whisk to combine.
- Pour in the buttermilk and melted butter, stirring to ensure that there are no lumps.
- Gently fold in white chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by the spoonful onto prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until biscuits are slightly golden brown and firm.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes on pan, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
- To make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and heavy cream in a large bowl.
- Drizzle over cooled biscuits.
